So a little over a year ago I started a page dedicated to my doing things better title “The New Me”. These “better things” consisted of a healthier lifestyle in ALL aspects. Well it is now 2012 and what do I have to show for it. Here goes….
So I joined Weight Watchers® and I did lose some weight. I started the program in August of 2011 and was not consistant. I didn’t start REALLY doing the program until September 2011, only because the P.E. teacher at work was starting a “Biggest Loser” competition and I wanted to win. (yes, I am a tad bit competative) Well…it WORKED. For the months of September, October, November and December I won the monthly challenges. By January of 2012 I had gone from 200 lbs to 184.5 lbs and I had also gone from wearing size 18 to a size 14! *1st grade teacher happy dance*
Now, here is the problem. It’s March!!! OMG…can you believe that it’s March already?! Anywho, I’ve gained back 5.5 lbs. (smh) So what’s a girl to do?!
Well, I few weeks ago a childhood friend sent me a message via FB (Facebook) telling me about how much weight she has lost. In my mind I was like “yadda yadda yadda…whoopity whoop whoop… I don’t wanna hear this mess!!” But I took the time to really LOOK at her and her transformation. Can we say amazing!?
