So What Now?! I Guess It’s Time to be a “Go Getter”

So I look at the clock and see that it’s 12:05 pm.  Time to go pick up my students from lunch and to take them to Specials (Art, Music, or P.E.).  Then I remember that my student teacher has already gone to go do that. Lord bless her!! 

Then I jump out of my seat becasue I remember that it’s Tuesday.  What does that mean?! Tuesday is the day that the 1st Grade Team meets to plan for the following week, so I ran down to the Team Leaders room.

Now back to the topic at hand…

“Go Getter” : a person who is ambitious and who isn’t afraid to ask for and pursue what he wants.

Problems – obstacles – issues!  Why does one “just do it” and complete a job, while the other never even gets to it, or quits at the first speed bump?

It has taken some time but I am realizing that the key to getting off your feet and kicking some arse is simply doing what you’re good at and what you love. Dump/outsource/delegate the rest. Be able to set your ego aside and let someone better than you take over the parts you suck at.
