Failure is a funny thing… it said to be the act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful; lack of success.
*thinking* lack of success… *sigh* at times I feel this way, especially lately.
I woke up this morning not feeling my best. I rolled over and text a few of my friends and chatted with some via WhatsApp. I spoke to my mum and I had every intention of going to church, but my spirit wasn’t in it.
My body is tired: emotionally and physically…
I am DRAINED…
Failure……
After a chatting with a friend via text, I realized that I needed to follow my own advice….
Marla… GET YO LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!!
So with that I began to think and talk out loud. Yes, this is something I do quite often. Matter of fact a LOT of teachers tend to do this. And for those of you out there, it’s ok to talk to yourself AND answer!! 🙂
As I was talking I realized that I’m not REALLY talking to myself, I’m talking to God. Actually I’m fussing at Him! I am angry, I am pissed, I am hurt, I am sad. Within an hours time I go through several different emotions. If you were sitting in the same room with me you would have thought I was bi-polar!
It is when I come to the following realization…
Everyone fears failure. But breakthroughs depend on it!
My breakthrough is coming!!! *happy dance* I just have to hold on and believe.
Failure helps us hone our skills much better than success. When we fail — and take the time to learn from our failures — we discover what we need to improve. As the saying goes, the largest room in the world is the room for improvement.
So just remember, and so will I….
Failure is not the end. Psalm 37:23-24, TLB.
“The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take. If they fall it isn’t fatal, for the Lord holds them with His hand.”
Even good people fail. Psalm 34:19, TLB.
“The good man does not escape all troubles, he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.”
When you fail – you can succeed next time. Philippians 4:13, TLB.
“For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.”
Don’t let failing or failure discourage. Joshua 1:9, TLB.
“be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
~Love, Peace, and SOOOOOOOOOUL!!!
