It’s All About JUICING! What’s it all about?!


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So for the past few days I have been posting what I have been juicing on Facebook via my FB page:
“My Life As I See It!” – MHunter Experience.  People have been asking for recipes and ideas so I am here to help! 🙂

This particular posting is about the benefits of juicing and why I do it.

Cancer is a desease the run rampid in my family. From what I know: 2 aunts and 2 uncles.  One of my uncles in particular I am EXTREMELY close to. My uncle HAD stomach cancer…yes I did say HAD.

It was so bad that it was projected that when the doctors found out that they said he only had 3months to live.  That was over 5 years ago.  My uncle REFUSED to do cemo (now this is NOT for everyone), but he changed his diet TREMENDOUSLY!

My uncle had half of he stomach removed and could not eat anything! This is what my uncle did and continues to do…

  • he juiced for months before the surgery
  • after the surgery he juiced while his stomach healed
  • 100% WHOLE foods
  • NO processed foods
  • juiced DAILY!!

Benefits of Juicing

Some look to juicing regimens as weight-loss solutions as well. Indeed, there are many benefits for juicing.

First, you give your digestive system a rest so that your body has time to put its energy, besides digesting, into elimination, recovery and healing.

Juicing gives your digestive system a rest, including the stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder and liver.

Keep in mind, though, that juicing and fasting are two different things. Do not mix them up. Fasting means that you are not eating; rather, you provide your body with water alone.

By juicing, you still provide your body with the nutrients from fresh-squeezed vegetables and fruits. For many, this mitigates the problem of protein breakdown that they face when fasting.

Many studies have shown that juicing increases your body’s function and helps to strengthen your body’s various systems — your endocrine system, digestive system, and immune system, to name a few.

Some studies have suggested how one day per week of juicing can improve your health and weight.
