Using My Verbal Windex: “Do you understand the words that are coming outta my mouth!?”

You’re smart. At least that’s what I THOUGHT. You have ears. You can hear. So why is it that you do NOT listen when I talk to you? 

Believe it or not, listening is a skill. A skill that some people just dont’ have. One of the reasons people are not good at listening is because they do not listen. Listening skills start with paying attention. If you know why your mind is tending not to listen, then you have taken the first step in addressing this.

Well for me, I’m sick and tired of people not listening.  I thought that I made things clear the 1st, 2nd, and sometimes the 3rd time.  Shoot! You are NOT one of my 1st graders.  Come on people…Get your LIFE!! *screaming*

Lately, I’ve been using Windex to make my point crystal clear.  NO…I’m not going around spraying people with Windex, BUT I am making my words as clear as if I was spraying Windex.  This action has been making some headway in my life.  In the end the person might not be to happy, BUT I know that my conscience is clear and I am able to sleep better at night.

So my dear readers…if you’ve been repeating yourself over and over and over and over again…sometimes even changing up the message a tad bit, think about how Windex works when we clean things and make your words that way.

Use your verbal Windex.
