So today I am playing catch up with my Thanksgiving Challenge. I guess that’s one thing that I can be thankful for…being busy!
This past weekend I had the privlege of spending quality time with my Sorotity Sisters. Yes, I belong to a Sorority…a wonderful one at that. I am a PROUD member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was organized on November 12, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana by seven young educators: Mary Lou Allison Little, Dorothy Hanley Whiteside, Vivian White Marbury, Nannie Mae Gahn Johnson, Hattie Mae Dulin Redford, Bessie M. Downey Martin and Cubena McClure.
Did you check out the date?! Yes…this year is our 90th Anniversary! *happydance* So all over the country women of Sigma Gamma Rho are celebrating.
So for this Thanksgiving Challenge…I am thankful for my Sorors nation wide and “Greater Service, Greater Progress”.
Check out the slide show…pictures made possible by my Chapter Basileus (President), Soror Davina Powell, Upsilon Sigma Chapter.
~Love, Peace, and SOOOOOUL!!! (and thanks)
