Joy and Pain Part IV

*DISCLAIMER* I am still quite ill and haven’t gain full vision yet, so please excuse the typos in the posts that may be posted for a while. Thank you all very much 🙂

Blid but now...

As I sit here at my parents’ kitchen table, all I can do is laugh!

Across from my is my cousin, Alyrical, sketching and it’s BEAUTIFUL!

Why am I laughing? Well, this past weekend we were named “2 Blind Mice”.  See where I have limited vision in my right eye, my cousin in legally blind in the right eye.  Yet she is using her God given talent to create a work of art.Alyrical

Every time I have felt discouraged I go to my baby cousin for advise! Even though we are nearly 10 years apart we’ve ALWAYS been more like sisters than cousins…this is something that I have grown to cherish especially now.

At my recent ophthalmology appointment, we walked outside to wait on my dad to come and pick us up.  I turned to her and was like “I feel so stupid when I sit in there! I get NONE of the answers correct and I feel like the doctors and nurses are looking at me like I’m nuts.”  She turned to me and laughed.  I began to laugh too, because I realized that THIS is must what she has felt like for the past year and a half.

This condition has been teaching me a LOT!

    1. Life is too short.
    2. Family is EVERYTHING!
    3. Your current job means NOTHING when you are no longer able to work.

So with that being said… Live people! LIVE!!!
~Love, Peace, and SOOOOOUL!!!

This is a place for me to reflect on things that are happening in my life.  I might just be one person in this big world of ours, but I'm one person that's on a mission... Life:: the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual. Life is a funny thing.  It is forever changing and as it changes so will I.
