The Adventures of a Non-shopper

This afternoon started out very interesting.

I get a call from my FSIL (future sister-in-law) she wants me to run some errands for her for wedding stuff. Of course I said yes…I mean what kind of FSIL would I be if I said no?! lol

We pick up one of her friends and head to Macy’s. It’s cool…she’s trying on clothes and such and I sit in the fitting room.

It really didn’t look like this, but this is close enough *shrug*

I don’t really do malls and I really don’t like shopping. Yes I’m a woman. And, no I don’t like shopping.

She then heads to Forever 21 and at this point I chose to go to Starbucks. I need a treat for myself since I’ve made it this far in the mall!

yeah ummmm…this store is NOT made for girls life me!
Hips…thighs.. and booty!

I order. As I waited patiently this guy asks for a refill. He’s told it will be $0.55. The next thing that comes out of his mouth astonishes me: “can you take the change I gave you and add this to it?” The “change” he’s referring to is the $0.20 he put in the tip jar!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t even know if it had THIS much in the jar!!!

I look at him and look at the barista and say “I have $0.55…here you go”. The Barista thanks me, then this FOOL looks at me and says “well thanks! Since you gave me that will you give me your number?” I have him the *teacher look* and said “no…I’m dating someone”….which is the truth!

yeah just like THIS…but with a liiiiiiiiiittle more attitude and a slight *side eye*

grrrrrrr….I just really wanted to do this….

Gibb/Dinozzo head slap

I’m just glad that I’m not at home ok…. lol

HALLEGLORY!!

~Love, Peace, and SOOOOOUL!!!

This is a place for me to reflect on things that are happening in my life.  I might just be one person in this big world of ours, but I'm one person that's on a mission... Life:: the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual. Life is a funny thing.  It is forever changing and as it changes so will I.

  1. LOl, lolll FOOL is right, OMG. And then he hits on you after that?!? As IF…I’m the opposite version of you though@I loveeeee shopping. And Forever 21 is one of my fave places to shop. But I also don’t do full-price. I’m the queen of sale shopping..Matter of fact I’ll wait on a piece I want , until!, it goes on sale. The markUP price on clothes /shoes is retarded high..if people only knew. Cute blog I like…

      1. Exactly! Now thats a smart purchase..And? Why buy just 1; when we can get 2 for the price of 1? Cousin of mine taught me to bargain shop years back & helps solve issue of my shopaholicness..The issue on my pocket that is

      2. See I only really shop once a year really and that’s for clothes for the school year to teach. lol I’m trying to get better. Oh and trying on clothes…..uuuuuugh!

      3. Ok?!? I hate trying clothes on in stores also..I almost refuse to do it..I have to be in a mood to do it; which is hardly never. So, I do like most of us do, right? Guess at the fit/carry it home/try it on/then have to go back cause it doesn’t fit! Jeez

You may ALWAYS speak your mind here! :)
