Moving to China – Midnight Thoughts

So I am sitting here and i just got off the phone with my Mummie. First let me explain the type of relationship that I have with my Mummie.

1. We talk EVERYDAY!  Somtimes 3 – 4 times a day.
2. My Mum knows everything about me.  SERIOUSLY…there are some things that most people just keep from their parents to make things easier, but I come to the realization that this woman is Jedi Master! So what’s the point in trying to hide ANYTHING from her.
3. I LOVE and ADORE this woman…she has done and will do anything for her children.  There are only 2 of us, but she has given her last on many occaisons for my brother and me.
4. She is a God fearing woman! If ANYONE can get a prayer through it’s her.  I believe that she has passed this strength on to me…I am so thankful for it.
5. She really has my best interest at heart.

Now all of my life I have been that child who acts on impluse.  If I feel the need and it won’t kill me or send me to jail…I’ll do it.  Of course my Mum is right there supporting my craziness.  At times it’s funny to see her endorsing my crazy!

I absolutely…100% love my Mummie!

It’s going to be a 15 hour difference…at this point I’m dying on the inside.

I’m crushed… (ok the tears are starting up)

I am moving half way around the world.  I’m going to a land that I know nothing of…

…without my Mummie!!

Skpye, WeChat, Facetime…all those things don’t allow me to hug her, to smell her, to sit on her lap. (YES! I still sit on my Mum’s lap from time to time)

I LOVE that woman…
