So today should be at work teaching my lovely 5 years olds, but school was called out due to a Red Day. What is a Red Day? It’d when there are heavy rains with added pollution. Red Days happen during typhoon season.
Anywhooo…I’m sad about not being at work. Said no teacher EVER! Funny thing is that I’m not at work but I am working. I’m working on the class Moodle page by setting up No School Day assignments for my students which they may not even do. I’m also blogging and working on some vlogs right now! I also just finished a Blab and Periscope where I talked about what I do here in China.
Below is the Periscope that I did…It will be up for the next 22 hrs (Tuesday, Sept.22 9:25pm EST)
Then this is the Blab that I was on. Click on the picture to see the replay
Now back to the topic at hand…travel blogging.
I’ve come to the realization that I am not officially a travel blogger. I’ve started to get emails, FB/IG/IB/Twitter messages about what I do. You really have no idea bout who’s watching your or reading your blogs. It feels AMAZING! After following several blogs, I now feel empowered to talking about what’s going on in my world!
There is one biog/person that I have a crush on: “The Blog Abroad” by Gloria Atanmo.
Let me tell you something (Fire Marshall Bill voice). This girl is amaze-balls! Her writing skills are on fire. She is a world traveler. She’s also a published writer for several well known online publications. And to top it all off…she’s a woman of colour!
So today it begins…my life as a travel blogger.
~Love, Peace, and SOOOOOUL!!!
