Missing Boracay!

It’s been all most a month since being in beautiful Boracay!

I’m having serious withdrawals!

Boracay…BORACAY…BOOOOORAAAAACAAAAAAY!!

So if you haven’t noticed by now I’m missing Boracay! My 8 days in Boracay was a life changing event for me.  It opened my eyes to a life that I knew NOTHING about.

the love.

the people.

the food.

the need for MORE!

Going to Boracay is pilgrimage that I will make at least once a year for the rest of my life.

So let’s recap the last for days of being in Boracay and Manila.

Thursday, October 1

Today was the day that we just kicked it. We went for a second massage day and it was GREAT! Of course I fell asleep on the table and I caught myself snoring 3 times.

As we walked back to Station 3 I got aproached by this thick, very attaractive Police Officer.  He told me that I was beautiful and that he loved my black skin. I was at this time that I saw him sizing me up.  All I could do was to laugh.

Then it happened…He asked me out for that evening, but I had to decline because I had other things planned.  BUMMER!! I did get his information and then when I go back I will try to look him up.

Friday, October 2

Truly a RELAX day! Today we linked up with Toto and got some souvenirs. Toto made a boat for Kisha and I, with our names and the date on it.  I have yet to take mine out of the box and I REFUSE to do so!

We sat and chilled with the locals laughing at the Chinese women coming to get their hair braided. This is such a funny sight to see because this is something that we get done all the time and not just when we go to a tropical island.

Saturday, October 3

I wanted to cry this day.  Off to the airport at the crack of dawn. Back to China. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

While in Manila we did the following…

  • bought Jamaican beef patties
  • bought Krispy Kreme donuts
  • made friends with a wonderful lady, Shiela and her family while eating lunch
  • went to the MAC store

Now here’s where the drama begins.

We were to catch a 9pm flight from Manila to Hong Kong, but 30 mins prior to the departure our flight got canceled, due to a typhoon.

We were tired, hungry, and now pissed! But the ending was great!  I wasn’t ready to leave and Philippeans Airlines put us up for the night in a 5 star Hotel and Casino.

AWESOME SAUCE!

Free dinner. Plush bed.  Hot shower.  Drinks on the house.

This is a place for me to reflect on things that are happening in my life.  I might just be one person in this big world of ours, but I'm one person that's on a mission... Life:: the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual. Life is a funny thing.  It is forever changing and as it changes so will I.

You may ALWAYS speak your mind here! :)
